EMDR Therapy

EMDR Therapy helps people to heal from adverse life experiences. It is a 3-pronged holistic and integrative psychotherapy that focuses on the past, present, and future to help the brain desensitize and reprocess negative memories and neutralize triggers. This alleviates emotional distress, sensations of “stuckness”, and related symptoms of mental unease. EMDR Therapy helps the brain and the nervous system to adaptively heal and can be effective in treating a variety of issues including PTSD, anxiety, phobias, addictive behaviors, obsessive thoughts, and other sources of distress. EMDR Therapy has been extensively researched and is proven effective in providing ongoing relief from mental health symptoms caused by adverse life events.  EMDR Therapy is recommended by the World Health Organization for children, adolescents, and adults for the treatment of PTSD.
